To design a space where friends and family can gather in comfort and style, featuring a pool, pool house, spa, fire feature, privacy, dog run, and kitchen with dining area, all while maintaining the sleek, contemporary aesthetic of the home.

• The limited size of the backyard (40'x58'), including an existing 25'x16' covered patio.
• The challenge of eliminating a central support pillar from the patio to accommodate a fireplace while ensuring structural integrity.

• A custom support system was built to hold the weight of the roof extension, allowing us to safely remove the central support pillar. In its place, we installed a central fireplace, and once the structure was secure, the initial supports were removed.
• The design includes multi-functional features:
  • A fireplace with a built-in kitchen in the covered patio space, creating an ideal entertainment area.
  • The fire bowl area, doubling as a lounge space for additional relaxation.
  • Two pool houses: one houses the pool equipment, while the other features a small bathroom. The roof connecting the two houses shelters the spa below.
  • The artificial turf serves as a dog-friendly space, blending functionality with aesthetics.
• A 10'x20' custom liner pool with a sun shelf and spillover spa was installed, strategically placed between the pool houses to optimize space.
• A privacy wall with a raised planter was added to maximize privacy without taking up too much room.
• Low voltage lighting was used throughout to highlight key areas and create an inviting atmosphere at night.
• An address wall made from the same brick as the house was added at the front, providing a cohesive design element.
