Create an elegant, updated backyard with a pool, spa, fire features, masonry, lounge area, privacy elements, lighting, and ample patio space for entertaining.

Balancing the incorporation of numerous design elements while ensuring the backyard maintained a cohesive, sophisticated feel. Working within the property’s lakeside location required careful planning to manage drainage and protect the structural integrity of masonry elements against potential water exposure.

• Removed and disposed of all existing backyard materials to start fresh.
• Built the foundations and block heights for all masonry elements, including planters, two fire features, a privacy wall, and a pillar to conceal pool equipment. Cladded these elements with stone to complement the house’s existing aesthetic.
• Installed a custom 18’x38’ liner pool with an 11’ wide sun shelf and spillover spa for maximum relaxation and functionality.
• Incorporated a custom metal slatted privacy screen and matching gate into the masonry privacy wall for a modern, sleek touch.
• Created an artificial turf lounge area for added comfort and low-maintenance functionality.
• Designed the main fire feature to span the entire pool width, integrating three sheer descent water features. Added a second wood-burning fire feature closer to the lake for a cozy gathering space.
• Used low-voltage lighting to illuminate pathways, walls, and large trees, enhancing ambiance and safety during the evening.
